ElysiaVisuals timelapse controller firmware is ready for testing
We have been working very hard on both the hardware and the software of our upcoming timelapse controller. The first hardware boards should arrive here in our electronics lab soon from now. I will post images of them as soon as they are soldered and working. I guess the time is almost coming that we are calling for beta testers.
Here are a few screen shots of the OLED display that we are currently using. The first three images are from the simulation mode. That mode tells you exactly what the timelapse controller will do during the run. That way you know how long the sequence will take, how long your movie will eventually be, how many stops are covered by a ramping sequence etc.
Camera detection is automatically working now. The unit can "see" which camera is connected. All settings from the camera like the 1/3 or 1/2 steps EV settings are automatically taken from the camera. We are going to test this firmware a lot the next week; hopefully on our own hardware boards. Don't worry, we will put our findings about these initial tests on this blog.
