We have just released firmware 3072 for all RamperPro models. This firmware contains no new features, but it includes support for a few new camera models:
Change log
The new Sony Alpha α7r III is now supported by the RamperPro! This is the first Sony alpha camera that can store the images on the internal memory card of the camera. That was not the case with previous Alpha camera's where the RamperPro had to download the RAW files to the RamperPros' memory card
We made it. Just before the end of this year. Here is a new exciting firmware release for the RamperPro time lapse controller. This release is available for all models of the RamperPro.
We have just released firmware 3070 for all RamperPro models. This firmware contains a few bug fixes and preliminary support for the Nikon D5
Change log
Added support for the Nikon D5.
Fixed USB triggering for Nikon.
Enhanced the easy setup mode. ISO ramping is automatically setup in all possible situations.
Show a detailed message when the user has setup the RamperPro manually in expert mode and when ISO ramping values are not entered correct. We don't recommend to use expert mode; this is only for experienced users.
Trigger two motion control devices via ext1 and ext2 even when only one camera is connected. This makes it possible to use a slider with its' own controller and a pan/tilt head with its own controller. These two devices are now triggered at the same time by the RamperPro after an image is taken.
Fixed a bug where the unit could crash when USB triggering was used and when USB connection with the camera was lost. This can happen when the cameras' battery is empty for example. Enhancement of the sunrise performance.
We are happy to announce the Pyla release of the RamperPro firmware. This release is the next evolution of the RamperPro firmware, it extends a lot of RamperPro first features like automatic XMP file creation to create flicker free timelapse movies, automatic brightness control and a super easy way to setup your sunset and sunrise timelapse shoot.

We are very proud to announce the second iteration of the most professional time lapse controller on the market: the RamperPro2. The RamperPro is being used by many professionals and broadcast companies all over the world. The new RamperPro2 will push the boundaries even further.
We are very happy to announce that the current firmware of the RamperPro supports Sony A7 (A7R, A7Rii, A7s) cameras. This is a beta feature, but we are having some impressing and stable results as you can see in this video:
The upcoming 3058 firmware for the RamperPro will support the fantastic Sony Alpha A7 series. How does it work? Sony made a strange decision with their current camera firmwares. The camera is not storing its' images to the internal SD card as soon as you connect these cameras to a PC/Mac/RamperPro.
eMotimo as accounced that they have stopped producing the very popular TB3. This is the original announcement:
We’ve stopped producing TB3s and the ones we have in stock are running out quickly. It has been an incredible product but it’s time for us to focus our energies on something new. Before we talk about what happens next, we’d like to talk about where the TB3 has been and what made it successful enough to disrupt an industry.
