Features

The RamperPro needs a connection to the flash socket of your camera when it is running in bulb mode. That way the controller can actively measure and control the realized bulb speed of your camera. This data is then used to create the correct corrections and ramping profile.

This cable connects to the PC socket connection of your camera. It might happen that your camera doesn't have such a socket. You then can use a simple adapter that you can mount on the hot shoe of your camera.

The new Sony Alpha α7r III is now supported by the RamperPro! This is the first Sony alpha camera that can store the images on the internal memory card of the camera. That was not the case with previous Alpha camera's where the RamperPro had to download the RAW files to the RamperPros' memory card

The new Sony Alpha α7r III is now supported by the RamperPro. The great news about this camera is that the camera is able to store its' images on the memory card of the camera. That is a huge improvement because previous Sony camera models didn't have this feature. That meant that the RamperPro had to download the images from the camera. But that is not required anymore on the Sony Alpha α7r III! This means shorter intervals since the images can now stay on the camera itself. Note: The Sony Alpha α7r III is supported in RamperPro firmware 3072 and higher.

We have just released firmware 3070 for all RamperPro models. This firmware contains a few bug fixes and preliminary support for the Nikon D5

Change log

Added support for the Nikon D5.
Fixed USB triggering for Nikon.
Enhanced the easy setup mode. ISO ramping is automatically setup in all possible situations.
Show a detailed message when the user has setup the RamperPro manually in expert mode and when ISO ramping values are not entered correct. We don't recommend to use expert mode; this is only for experienced users.
Trigger two motion control devices via ext1 and ext2 even when only one camera is connected. This makes it possible to use a slider with its' own controller and a pan/tilt head with its own controller. These two devices are now triggered at the same time by the RamperPro after an image is taken.
Fixed a bug where the unit could crash when USB triggering was used and when USB connection with the camera was lost. This can happen when the cameras' battery is empty for example. Enhancement of the sunrise performance.

RamperPro firmware 3066 is available for Sony A7 shooters

We just released RamperPro firmare 3066 for the RamperPro3 only. This fixes an issue where Sony A7 cameras wouldn't always ramp properly. This issue was only existing on the new RamperPro3. RamperPro1 and RamperPro2 users don't need to update to 3066.
